(Gillette, Wyo.) As we reported earlier in the week
Wyoming Resistance Front leader Bret Colvin, whose group seeks to stop
Syrian refugees from entering Wyoming, seemed upset about a University of
Wyoming program taking place at the library on Thursday night.
Among other topics, the lecture series included a reading from a book
about life as a refugee. There was also a talk from a UW historian about
women's contributions to Islam.
Colvin had alleged on his podcast that he was planning to attend and
disrupt activities. Yet he was not present at the library Thursday night.
Unfortunately he had a county bench warrant, and Gillette Police picked him
up Thursday afternoon.
His bond is over $50,000, the sum he owes in unpaid child support payments.
