Dispatch: Burglary; Car fire; Toddler found wandering

Here's what happened with law enforcement around Campbell County yesterday. All calls took place February 17th, through early morning February 18th. All persons cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Gillette Police Department* *William Elijah, 25, Broadus MT*, was found sitting in a parked car outside Powder Basin Shopping Center. Officers discovered he had a warrant for failing to pay for a DUS. He was arrested. *Robin Flowers, 51, Gillette*, was arrested for a warrant out of Natrona County for failure to pay child support. Officers were responding to a report from neighbors that he was wandering around intoxicated. He was taken in to custody and taken to the detention center. *Theft* A 23 year old woman reported $20 cash and a black ipod were taken from her unlocked car while it was parked on Georgia Circle overnight. When she got to her car this morning she found the door ajar, and the glovebox and center console open. The ipod was valued at $100. *Drugs* A 16 year old at Westwood High School was contacted by school resource officers around 9:30 Wednesday morning. He was believed to be under the influence of a controlled substance. He has not been charged. *Juvenile Arrests* Witnesses reported that a 16 year old boy hit his mother in the head during a heated argument. During the altercation, he allegedly broke a door and a computer screen. He was arrested for domestic violence and destruction of property. The mother was not seriously injured. A 16 year old girl throwing items around at the YES house. GPD assisted DFS, who requested the girl be transported to the hospital for evalutation. Instead she was taken to the juvenile detention center. *Child Neglect* An anonymous caller reported to police that a toddler wearing only her diaper was wandering on Green Avenue. Police found the 2 year old child and the family dog in an alley nearby. The 22 year old mother had fallen asleep during the toddler's nap time. The child had woken up and left the house while her mother was sleeping. She was returned to her mother, and a report is being forwarded to the Department of Family Services. *Identity Theft* A 62 year old woman reported that someone had opened a credit card account in her name. A credit line for $11,500 was set up with Discover. An investigation is ongoing. *Burglary* At 7:30 p.m. on Tepee Street, a 21 year old woman reported that someone had entered her house between 6 p.m. and 7:30. The suspect or suspects had removed a 20" television, value $75, and about 15 pills of Percocet, 25 sleeping pills, and 20 painkillers. There are no suspects and investigation is ongoing. There were signs of forced entry. *Domestic Violence* Officers responded to Denver Avenue for a report of a 35 year old woman and a 37 year old man fighting. The woman said she was pushed out of her house by her 37 year old fiancée. Neither party had been visibly injured by the altercation. The woman was on parole and was not supposed to be drinking. A portable breathalyzer showed she had been drinking. A report has been forwarded to the parole board. *Campbell County Sheriff's Office* *Derek Clark, 28, Gillette*, taken in to custody for another agency. *Lawrence Daly, 48, Gillette*, arrested for contempt of court. *Thomas Davis, 43, Sundance WY*, arrested Wednesday afternoon at the Coffee Cup in Crook County for two bench warrants and a failure to appear warrant. *Matthew Strohschein, 38, Wright WY*, arrested for a bond revocation. At 2:30 a.m. deputies responded to the report of a vehicle fire on Hannum Road. A 2004 Toyota 4-Runner was on fire, the cause is still being investigated. *All information provided by GPD Sgt.
