Exhibition at the Rockpile Museum extended through March

(Gillette, Wyo.) The Unquiet Utes, an exhibit curated by the Rockpile Museum that has traveled to from state to state over the past five years, was originally going to appear for one last time this month at the museum. But preparations for the next exhibit are taking longer than expected, and so the Utes will be sticking around a little longer. [image: scan0021.jpg] If you haven't seen it yet, the display shows dozens of photographs taken 1110 years ago by *Collier’s Weekly* photographer Thomas W. Tolman. The hundreds of Ute Indians that fled Utah at the turn of the century traveled across the Powder River Basin area, in search of a new home. Buffalo soldiers and the U.S. Cavalry were called upon to intervene.
