Dispatch: Drugs at the Hampton Inn; Suspected blackmail

Here's what happened around Campbell County yesterday. All calls took place between 6 a.m February 25th and 6 a.m. February 26th. All persons cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Gillette Police Department* *Jasmine Allen, 19, Mitchell SD*, was arrested Thursday for misdemeanor possession of marijuana and use of a controlled substance. *Lacee Brown, 18, Mitchell SD*, was arrested with Jasmine Allen for possession of marijuana when GPD requested K9 units from the Sheriff's Office assist with an inspection of the Hampton Inn. Dogs indicated the presence of drugs in one of the rooms on the second floor, which was occupied by Brown and Allen. *Christy Mediate, 37, Gillette*, was stopped Thursday night near the Iron Horse subdivision. She failed her field sobriety test and was arrested for driving under the influence. *Justin Obert, 20, Gillette*, was found Friday afternoon officers making snow angels on the ground on Emerson Avenue. He admitted to having ingested a bad batch of Spice. He did not need medical treatment and was arrested for use of a controlled substance. *Phillip Olson, 35, Bristol SD*, arrested Friday morning at 2:30 a.m. when he left his car near the Pizza Hut, which officers found suspicious, as the store was closed. He failed his field sobriety test and was arrested for DUI. His Blood Alcohol Level was .152. *Ejected from the Hospital* A man was displaying threatening behavior at the Campbell County Hospital Thursday morning and was trespassed from the premises. *Lost Property* Platinum Auto reported losing plates Thursday morning. They are unsure when the demo plate, tag, and full use plates disappeared. *Blackmail* Noon on Thursday, a 35 year old woman reported that a 29 year old woman had allegedly sent her several texts, threatening to make nude photos of the 35 year old public if she doesn't stop texting the 29 year old's boyfriend. An investigation is ongoing. *Destruction of Property* Thursday afternoon at North Campus, a 35 year old woman reported that someone had scratched her Chevy SUV and did $200 damage. *Theft* Thursday at around 6 p.m., a 36 year old man told police someone had ripped the registration stickers off his Toyota while it was parked on Alex Way. $12 to replace. *Campbell County Sheriff's Office* *Austin Carson, 21, Gillette*, was arrested for a probation violation. *Alonzo Chavez, 22, Gillette*, was arrested for a failure to appear warrant. *Natasha Partridge, 36, Gillette*, was taken in to custody as a sentenced prisoner. *Leslie Schook, 24, Hay Springs NB*, was arrested in Niobrara County for a forgery warrant. *Suspected DUI* Thursday night someone called to report a driver on Union Chapel Road was swerving all over the road. Deputies stopped the car, driven by a 74 year old man, who was not visibly impaired, just driving very slowly. He complained that the driver who had reported him was tailgating. *Suspicious Carry-On* A man boarding a flight at Gillette-Campbell County Airport this morning was found to be carrying bullets. The ammunition was taken by the Sheriff's Office and will be held until the 31 year old returns home. All information provided by GPD Sgt.
