(Moorcroft, Wyo.) According to their Facebook page
the ice around Keyhole is starting to make some noise.
Despite freezing temperatures overnight, the mild weather we've been
experiencing the past few weeks are creating problems on the ice. This
morning, it's 10 - 11 inches thick around the Cottonwood and Wind Creek
areas, but over by Pat's Point, the ice is more like 6 - 8 inches thick.
There are fractures and the lake is starting to open up, with the wind
pushing the ice inland. If you're out on the lake this weekend, officials
warn you to be cautious and take precautions. Happy fishing!
