Series of overnight drug arrests in Gillette are part of a statewide meth investigation

(Gillette, Wyo.) Last night, the Campbell County Sheriff's office and Gillette Police assisted Wyoming's Division of Criminal Investigation in making a series of drug arrests around the city, for suspects wanted in connection with meth trafficking. The DEA and the DCI arrested the following individuals for warrants related to a conspiracy to deliver a controlled substance: Christian Jackson, 21, Gillette Codi Brock, 26, Gillette Shawn Lingo, 29, Sundance Thomas Cooper, 46, Gillette Luerie Williams, 35, Gillette Branden Anderson, 36, Gillette Michael Golay, 38, Gillette Kristina Pille, 30, Gillette Lyle Schmidt, 49, Gillette The above individuals are being held in the Campbell County Detention Center pending further court proceedings. The state grand jury that issued the warrants, and the subsequent arrests, are related to a two year investigation by the Northeast Enforcement Team, Central Enforcement Team, Northwest Enforcement Team, DEA, ATF, FBI, Gillette Police Department, Campbell County Sheriff’s Office, Johnson County Sheriff’s Office and the Buffalo Police Department. The investigation has been looking in to a drug trafficking organization that has been operating in Wyoming and supplying large quantities of methamphetamine to communities in Campbell County, Sheridan County, Natrona County, Fremont County, Johnson County, Weston County and Crook County, along with areas in South Dakota and North Dakota. In early 2015, over a dozen members of this drug trafficking organization were arrested on federal charges. A majority of those individuals have pled guilty and have been sentenced or are pending sentencing. The investigation is ongoing and additional charges and arrests are anticipated.
