Dispatch: Multiple drug arrests; Car fire; Man assaulted by three juveniles

Here is the latest from law enforcement around the county today. All calls took place Wednesday, March 2nd, through early morning March 3rd. All persons cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Gillette Police Department* *Amber Hodgden, 25, Gillette*, arrested for possession of marijuana when officers responded to her residence for the report of a fight. She threw 9 grams of marijuana in to the trash after law enforcement was called. She admitted that the suspected pot was hers. *Brandan Hudspeth, 31, Gillette*, arrested for possession of a controlled substance. *Jeremy Lambson, 26, Gillette,* was observed going 50 in a 30mph zone on East 4th Street, and then 43 in a 30 on Gurley. He was stopped for speeding and officers reported that he appeared high or drunk. It took several attempts to get him out of the car, and he denied drinking but proceeded to fail a standard field sobriety test. At detention he was allegedly yelling at officers and refusing to answer questions, and then reportedly spit at a detention officer. He was charged with aggravated assault, 2 counts of speeding, and DUI. *Ashley Marks, 31, Gillette, *arrested for possession of a controlled substance. *Hunter Mills, 27, Gillette,* arrested for possession of a controlled substance. *Destruction of Property* 8:30 a.m. Wednesday on Gurley Avenue, a 68 year old woman reported that around 1 a.m. she heard loud noises at her residence. The next morning she noticed a boot scuff on her back door, and the door jam was cracked. Damage is about $100. *Theft *Wednesday morning a man reported that he was giving a 23 year old woman a ride when she stole the SIM card out of his track phone. She allegedly jumped from his vehicle on Highway 59 and ran away. Around noon on Wednesday, a 14 year old on Church Avenue reported that another 14 year old boy stole a samurai sword from his home on February 21st. The sword was turned over to law enforcement by a 17 year old who claimed to have received it from the 14 year old. The 14 year old was issued a citation for theft and his parents were notified. *Narcotics* 9:25 a.m. Wednesday morning officers arrived to Stetson Drive after a 911 hangup. A 27 year old woman advised that her 4 year old daughter accidentally dialed 911 from her cell phone. While speaking with the mother, officers allegedly smelled marijuana in the house. The woman admitted to a small amount of pot in her home, but that it was her mother's. The 48 year old homeowner consented to a search of her bedroom, where .25 grams of marijuana and two pipes were reportedly found. The 48 year old grandmother was issued a citation for possession. 2 p.m. on Echeta Road a 19 year old was issued a citation for DUS after being stopped for no registration. A K9 unit did a search of the car and indicated the possible presence of a controlled substance. Officers only located marijuana shake in the car. *Harassment* 10 a.m. Wednesday at North Campus a 45 year old mother reported that her 16 year old daughter was being threatened by an 18 year old boy via a third party. An investigation is underway. *Accident on North Campus* Wednesday afternoon an 18 year old boy backed out of the school shop building and collided with a 2003 Audi belonging to a 17 year old. Estimated damage is $1000 or greater. There were no injuries. *Assault* Wednesday afternoon on Orchid Court a 53 year old man reported that three juveniles were yelling profanities at him, and one ran up and punched him in the face. He chased the kids off. The man had minor scrapes on his face from the punches. Police are searching for the boy who threw the punch. He's described as 5'11" tall, with long brown hair, wearing a dark blue coat and blue jeans. *Shoplifting* Wednesday night at Wal-Mart a 15 year old girl handed her 16 year old friend $80 worth of makeup items to hide in her purse. *Campbell County Sheriff's Office* *Marcy Hyatt, 40, Newcastle,* arrested for a bench warrant. *Christine Jorgenson, 56, Gillette,* arrested in Weston County for unknown reasons. *Chrystal Lopez, 36, Gillette, *arrested for a bench warrant. *Tiffany McKesson, 22, Gillette, *arrested for a failure to appear warrant. *Billy Mooso Jr, 27, Gillette*, arrested for a bond revocation. *Jaime Moss, 27, Lander,* arrested in Sheridan County for unknown reasons. *John Murphy, 27, Gillette*, arrested for a bench warrant. *Shawn Novotny, 33, Gillette*, his stay at the VOA was cancelled and he was transported to detention. *Logan Rogers, 22, Gillette*, arrested Wednesday afternoon at the VOA after he was reported to deputies to be unresponsive. When they arrive he was awake, but apparently under the influence of Spice. He was charged of use of a controlled substance. *Threats* Deputies talked to an 8 year old who had allegedly been making threats against other students at school. The school and the child's parents were notified. *Narcotics* A 21 year old man was stopped Wednesday night and found to be driving on a suspended license and in possession of marijuana, both of which he was cited for. *Campbell County Fire Department* At 2:57 p.m. Wednesday afternoon, CCFD responded to Energy Car Wash on Warlow Drive. Upon arrival they found a reported car on fire had been extinguished by onsite employees. The fire’s origin was located near the battery underneath the back seat.
