Traffic stop ends in drug arrests

(Gillette, Wyo.) Wednesay, March 2nd at 4 p.m., Gillette Police observed a truck on Commerce Drive that they thought contained a person they were looking for that had a warrant. Officers made a u-turn to stop the vehicle, but the driver stopped near 2nd and Commerce and exited the truck, going to the front and opening the hood. Police offered assistance with the vehicle. The occupants - Brandan Hudspeth, Ashley Marks, and Hunter Mills -- reportedly were acting nervous around law enforcement. The story of how their truck broke down was not making sense to police, who decided to perform pat downs. Hunter Mills was allegedly found to be holding a meth pipe and a 1 gram bag of meth. A search of the truck revealed 3 more meth pipes containing suspected melted methamphetamine. Two of the pipes, belonging to Brandan Hudspeth, had approximately .25 grams of meth in them, each. Another pipe was reportedly found in Ashley Marks' purse. She was also in possession of prescription pills that did not belong to her. She was out on bond at the time for an unrelated incident. All three were arrested for misdemeanor possession of meth. #county17 #news
