Here is the latest from law enforcement around the county today. All calls took place Wednesday, March 3rd, through early morning March 4th. All persons cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Gillette Police Department* *Craig Dolphay, 38, Gillette*, arrested for violating a family protection order. *Holly Kenyon, 23, Gillette*, stopped 2 a.m. Friday morning on Skyline Drive for speeding and weaving in her lane. She admitted to drinking and performed a field sobriety test. She was arrested for DUI. Her blood alcohol at detention was .06. *Michael Lueras, 43, Gillette*, arrested for domestic battery. *Terry Rockwell, 44, Casper,* stopped on 4th Street for making an improper turn. Officers allegedly smelled alcohol on his breath, and asked him to perform a field sobriety test, which he failed. His blood alcohol level was .14 and he was arrested for DUI. *Breach of Peace* A 31 year old woman was driving north on Harder Drive Thursday morning at 7 a.m. when the 39 year old woman driving behind her apparently became unhappy with her for driving too slow. The older woman then passed the slower woman in a no-passing zone, allegedly cutting her off, and proceeded to park her car sideways across the intersection of Boxelder and Harder, then exit her car. The 39 year old then reportedly confronted the other woman through the window of her car, grabbed her wrist, and was yelling profanities when a sheriff's deputy arrived and intervened. She was cited for breach of peace, careless driving, and parking in an intersection. *Theft* Thursday afternoon on West Lakeway Road, a 32 year old man reported that between March 2nd and March 3rd several tools were taken from his van and enclosed trailer parked at Knecht Home Center. A Honda generator, hand tools, and an MP3 docking station were taken, approximately $2000 in value. A 16 year old at North Campus reported that $150 cash had been taken from his gym locker around 3 p.m. At 4 p.m. on Mountain View Drive, a 24 year old woman reported that the $100 Wells Fargo Visa Gift Card she was supposed to have received in the mail for Christmas from her employer never arrived. When the woman called Wells Fargo she learned that the gift card had already been used. She suspected her ex-roommate took it, and police have confirmed that to be true based on a city utility bill that the roommate paid with the card. *Narcotics* 4:30 p.m. on Dogwood Avenue Officers responded to a report of marijuana being smoked nearby. K9 units searched the apartment building's second floor hallway and indicated two possible residences that may contain a controlled substance. Neither occupant was home. A search warrant for both apartments turned up small amounts of marijuana and paraphernalia in both apartments. Thursday afternoon on East 12th Street a 34 year old man reported that he found a syringe with a small amount of fluid in his roommate's room. The roommate had been arrested earlier in the week. The substance weighed about 2 grams with the syringe. It was taken in to evidence and will be destroyed. *Assault* A 12 year old boy reported that he was assaulted during recess at Sunflower Elementary earlier in the day. He was playing football when he was allegedly grabbed by the neck by another student. He turned around, punched the other student and then was taken to the ground by several other kids. While on the ground, the other students reportedly kicked and stomped the 12 year old. He has a broken hand which will require surgery. An investigation is ongoing. *Forgery* A 24 year old woman at Just Gotta Dance reported late Thursday afternoon that she believe someone forged her name on an employment agreement. *Campbell County Sheriff's Department* *George Decent, 47, Gillette*, was arrested for DUI on Highway 59 Friday morning when deputies stopped him on his Harley. His blood alcohol level at detention was .22. *Michael Dye, 39, Gillette*, was arrested for a probation violation. *Trampus Hyles, 35, Gillette*, taken to detention as a sentenced prisoner. *Brandon Jeffery, 24, Rozet*, was taken to detention after being sentenced for DUI and interfering with a peace officer. *Alan Martensen, 47, Rozet*, arrested for a probation violation. *Escape* Thursday afternoon deputies received information that a Gillette woman in a Sheridan rehab facility may have escaped. They are looking in to it. *Fender Bender* 4:45 on Harder Drive, a woman reported that one unoccupied car had rolled in to another. *Suspicious Activity* Deputies responded to Highway 51 at 10 p.m. last night when they received a report of a suspicious car parked to the side of the road. They were both cited for use of marijuana. *Information provided by GPD Detective Shawn Franklin and CCSO Captain Eric Seeman.* #county17 #news
