Here's what happened with law enforcement Monda. All calls took place between 6 a.m March 7th and 6 a.m. March 8th. All persons cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Gillette Police Department* *Casey Carter, 34, Gillette*, arrested Monday morning on a Wyoming Department of Correction arrest and hold order. *Theft* 7:30 a.m. at the Warlow Drive Apartments, a 34 year old employee reported her cash machine had been broken in to overnight at the building's laundromat. This is the third time
the machine has been robbed in the past month. A hole was drilled through
the machine's lock, and the container with cash in it was removed. The
amount taken is unknown. The cost to repair the lock is $200.
A 17 year old North Campus student reported at 9:30 a.m. that his phone had
been stolen from his gym locker. Value $100. No suspects.
2 p.m. at AAA Mini Storage, police were checking the VIN number on a Suzuki
motorcycle and found it had been reported stolen out of Natrona County.
Natrona Sheriffs were contacted about incident. Reports say it had been
stolen from E&F Towing in Casper. The bike had been there since 2013 after
it was in an accident. The tow company had ownership when it was stolen
from their lot in September of 2015. The 23 year old man who was with the
motorcycle stated that he had purchased it from another man in Saratoga for
$3000. It has been impounded so the actual owner can retrieve it.
*Pedestrian Accident* 12:30 p.m. at North Campus, a 17 year old driving a
Cadillac through the parking lot hit another 17 year old that was walking.
There is damage to the car, but no reported injuries. The case is under
investigation to find the cause of the accident.
*Identity Theft* A 27 year old woman reported Monday afternoon that she
thinks her brother in Washington is applying for dozens of credit cards
using her personal information. One card was successfully issued, but she
cancelled it. The credit card statements were being mailed to the brother's
residence in Tacoma, which caused her to believe he was responsible. Police
there have been notified.
*Destruction of Property* 3 p.m. A 33 year old woman reported that her 2015
Chrysler had been keyed some time between noon and 12:30 while parked in
the parking lot on West 3rd Street. Damage was over $1000.
*Narcotics* 3:30 p.m. Officers responded to East Walnut Street when a 24
year old woman reported that there was an eyeglass container in the shed
behind her apartment complex with two syringes in it. Two pieces of
tinfoil, one with burnt residue, were also found. The evidence was
collected and marked for destruction. No suspects.
*Domestic Violence* 4 p.m. on Meadow Rose Avenue, a 36 year old man and 35
year old woman were questioned by police in regards to a reported fight
between the two of them. They admitted to hitting each other with a back
scratcher. There were no visible injuries and the parties were separated.
No charges were filed.
*Car Theft* A 40 year old woman reported her 2003 Ford F-150 ran out of
fuel on February 25th, so she left it parked by a home on Beech Street. She
has been using another car while her truck remained on Beech Street. She
last noticed the truck there on March 2nd, but because she had misplaced
the truck's keys, she has been unable to move it. A friend of hers offered
to find the keys and drive the truck to Sierra Circle. When the woman went
looking for it on Sierra Circle, she didn't find it. The friend stated he
had found the keys, drove the truck to that area, and left it parked,
unlocked, with the keys on the center console.
*Hit and Run* 2:30 a.m. Tuesday morning on East Walnut Street a witness
reported that a black Dodge hit a parked Chevy, drove over a neighbor's
lawn, and drove off. The Dodge was found in the parking lot of the Parkside
Apartments. Police were unable to find driver. The car's owner was
identified as a 68 year old woman. Both cars had substantial damage. There
is an investigation to find the driver.
*Campbell County Sheriff's Office*
*David Baker, 52, Gillette*, was arrested for a bench warrant.
*Kadeen Bingham, 19, Gillette*, was arrested for three warrants dating back
*Mark Larvie, 24, Gillette*, was arrested at the VOA to be held for another
*Tyler Lee, 28, Gillette*, arrested for a bond revocation.
*Richard Malone III, 39, Gillette*, was arrested for contempt of court.
*Alyshia Moore, 36, Gillette*, arrested for a probation violation.
*Lexi VanHorn, 25, Moorcroft*, arrested for a warrant.
*Jamie Wright, 46, Gillette*, arrested for a warrant.
A man was arrested on behalf of the FBI for a warrant related to two counts
of child pornography. His personal information is being withheld.
*Narcotics* 11 a.m. Monday morning, deputies serving an arrest warrant on
Dubois Lane smelled marijuana in the suspect's residence. A search of the
home turned up only drug paraphernalia. The man was arrested for a contempt
of court bench warrant, a felony possession of a controlled substance
charge and a misdemeanor possession charge, and felony child endangering.
His name was redacted from arrest reports.
*Breaking and Entering* A homeowner on Island Drive reported a former
renter was trespassing on his property. The renter was retrieving some of
his possessions. The homeowner did not want to press charges, but the
renter was issued a warning by deputies.
*Suicidal Subject* A 45 year old man talking to the Suicide Prevent Hotline
on Monday afternoon disconnected the call abruptly. Operators were worried
and contacted the Sheriff's Office, who checked on the man. He admitted to
having suicidal thoughts -- he was planning to drive in to the Big Horns,
get stuck in the snow, and then freeze to death -- and homicidal thoughts
-- he was planning to kill his brother, who lives in another state.
Deputies took the man to the hospital to receive help.
*Family Fight* A 14 year old and his step-dad were in a physical argument
that eventually carried on outside of the house after starting inside the
residence. The teenager's mother tried to break up the fight and ended up
getting punched in the face by the step-father. He left the home, but
deputies found him later and he was taken to detention for unrelated
