Dispatch: More car thefts; Accidental shooting; Rowdy bus patron

Here's what happened around Campbell County on Wednesday. All calls took place between 6 a.m March 95th and 6 a.m. March 10th. All persons cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Gillette Police Department* *Kenneth Bauer, 46, Dyersburg TN,* was arrested late Wednesday night after police had received a traffic complaint that he was driving erratically. When law enforcement found him, he was stopped at the Flying J. He allegedly smelled like alcohol and was unsteady on his feet, almost falling over while pumping gas. He refused a field sobriety test and was arrested for DUI and charged with having an open container. He also refused a breath test at detention, and a search warrant was obtained for a blood test. *Valrick Halliburton, 42, Little Rock AR,* was causing a disturbance on a charter bus in the parking lot of the Shell Station on Highway 14/16. He had allegedly been drinking on the bus, and reportedly yelling and screaming at other bus patrons. After the rest stop, the bus driver told him he was unwelcome back on the bus, but he tried to force his way back on. The bus driver prevented him from doing this. When officers arrived, the man continued to yell profanities and refused to calm down. He was arrested for breach of peace. *Tyler Johnson, 21, Gillette,* arrested at Adult Probation for domestic battery. *Hit and Run* 8:30 a.m. at North Campus, a 17 year old girl reported that her Dodge truck had been hit by an unknown car. Damage was $500. 8:20 p.m. a 20 year old man reported that his late model Honda had been hit while it was parked on South Emerson. He suspected his 44 year old neighbor had done it. The neighbor admitted that he had been backing out that morning, but wasn't sure he had hit the Honda, and so didn't report it. $1000 damage. *Fraud* 10 a.m. A 38 year old man sent letters to the GPD from a federal prison in Alabama alleging that someone in Gillette was using his checks. Police are investigating. 3 p.m. A 47 year old man reported that his ex-girlfriend has been forging his name on checks. She's allegedly been using the checks to pay rent and bills. $1064 has been taken from his account so far. *Criminal Trespassing* Wednesday night, the drivers of two cars were cited for trespassing. They had allegedly been loitering at the Common Cents parking lot. They were asked not to return. *Theft* A 30 year old woman reported Wednesday afternoon that her wallet had been stolen either from work or from her apartment. $80 cash and insurance card were in the wallet. *Campbell County Sheriff's Office* *Neil Downard Jr., 30, Gillette,* arrested for unknown reasons. *Davona Eisenbraun, 41, Gillette,* arrested for a bench warrant. *Juan Flores, 35, Laramie,* arrested for in Carbon County for possession of Spice. *Matthew Leto, 31, Lavina MT,* arrested for two bench warrants. *Bryan Nelson, 27, Tuba City AZ,* arrested for a bench warrant. *Joann Sneathen, 51, Gillette*, and Trey Sneathen, 27, Gillette, were arrested Wednesday afternoon onLariat Court from what started as a Civil Dispute between Joann and a 40 year old woman who reported that Joann had taken her car without permission. Sneathen claimed she wanted her trailer moved from the lot, and an argument ensued. Joann left, and an inquiry was made to the Sheriff's Office about how an eviction should proceed. While they were on scene, Joann returned, reportedly after having drinking, and was arrested for a DUI. Her son, Trey, who was present as a witness to the fight, was discovered to have a failure to appear warrant for a charge of not having auto insurance. While arrested him, deputies discovered he had an oxycodone pill that he didn't have a prescription for, and was also cited for possession. *Shooting* A 20 year old at the Hitching Post Trailer Park accidentally shot himself in the hand with his .45 ACP pistol Wednesday morning. The Sheriff's Office and EMS responded and transported him to the hospital. *Hit and Run* A two car accident Wednesday morning on Highway 51 and Fairview is being investigated by the Sheriff's Office and Highway Patrol, as the driver of one car left the scene of the accident before law enforcement could arrive. There were no injuries reported. Late Wednesday afternoon, the 38 year old driver of a Dodge Ram 3500 with North Dakota plates claims someone in a tall, dark, new gray Chevy sideswiped him near White's Frontier Motors on Highway 50. He was reporting the incident at the Walk-In Area of Union Chapel Road. He claims the other driver slowed down as if they were going to stop, but sped off when he got out of his truck. *Trailer Theft* Noon on Wednesday, a man called the Sheriff's Office reporting that a flatbed trailer that had gone missing from his business in November -- which he didn't report as stolen -- was parked at EZ Towing. The owner of a Ford pickup truck had borrowed the trailer from someone and was using it when both her truck and the man's trailer were towed. She did not know the trailer was allegedly stolen. Deputies are still investigating. *Lost and Found* A woman prepping her car to sell Wednesday afternoon discovered several cds inside. She has asked everyone she knows if they lost their country music mix in her vehicle at some point, and no one has stepped forward to claim them. The Sheriff's Office informed her that she gets to keep them. *Burglary* A Rozet resident left his home at 2 p.m. yesterday. When he returned at 4, he noticed his shop had been broken in to. Reported there was damage to the door jam as if the door had been kicked in. He did not immediately notice if anything was taken, but is still going through the shop to make sure nothing is missing. *Theft* 5 a.m. Thursday morning, a woman reported that both of her unlocked cars on Means Street had been rummaged through. A .38 special handgun, her purse, two stereo face plates, and a prescription bottle of painkillers with her name on it, were all stolen. *Wyoming Highway Patrol* *Garett Cook, 22, Gillette*, arrested as a fugitive from justice. *Information provided by GPD Lieutenant Chuck Deaton and Campbell County Undersheriff Quentin Reynolds.* #county17 #news
