Dispatch: Multiple property destruction reports to automobiles; More reported scams

Here's what happened around Campbell County this weekend. All calls took place between 6 a.m March 11th and 6 a.m. March 14th. All persons cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Arrests* *Lisa Deherrera, 56, Gillette,* arrested at Walmart for shoplifting and criminal trespassing. This is her third shoplifting offense, she has previously been warned not to return to Wal-Mart. *Meagan Harnish, 34, Gillette*, arrested for two municipal warrants, not having a valid driver's license, and being under the influence of drugs. *Mark Larvie, 24, Gillette*, arrested for a warrant. *Jenna Muniz, 35, Gillette*, arrested for contempt of court. *Wendy Palmer, 42, Casper*, arrested for DUI, cited with speeding and having an open container. *Jeffrey Rott, 52, Gillette*, arrested for DUI. Blood alcohol level at detention was .20. *Joseph Sorenson, 30, Gillette*, arrested for a warrant. *Barry Stroble, 18, Wright*, arrested for five counts of felony burglary and five counts of felony conspiracy. *Calls* *Silver Creek Steakhouse* Friday night, Gillette Police responded to the restaurant when a 58 year old man refused to pay the automatic 18% gratuity applied to a party of 6 or more. There were 13 people in his party. Eventually he paid his bill in full. *Thefts * Friday morning a 20 year old woman reported that her car stereo had been stolen from her unlocked car, some time overnight on Thursday. Friday night on Harvest Moon Drive a 24 year old woman reported to Gillette Police that a package that had been confirmed delivered to her by UPS was not on her door step. UPS informed her call the company she had purchased the item from. She also reported it to police. The package had $200 worth of goods inside. *Breaking and Entering* Friday morning a neighbor reported to Gillette Police that he saw someone breaking in to a house on Jim Court around 3 a.m. The homeowner reported that there didn't appear to be anything missing, however the person did leave behind some items of his own. There was no sign of forced entry. Saturday afternoon, Sheriff's deputies took a report that a house that was foreclosed on Friday, and had had its locks changed, had the sliding glass door broken out some time on Saturday. Property had been removed from the residence and a back door had also been damaged. *Bar Fight* While he was helping security escort patrons from Boot Hill at 2 a.m. Saturday morning, a 26 year old man reported that someone tackled him from behind, but he wasn't sure who. Three men were eventually trespassed from the property. *Fraud* Friday afternoon the phone scam involving threats of arrest if you don't pay an IRS fee was reported to the Sheriff's Office. The informed the person to report it also to the FTC, and showed them how to block that caller on their phone. Saturday morning a woman reported she'd been receiving messages on her tablet about a warrant she didn't have. Deputies told her to monitor her bank account for any suspicious activity and to possibly have the tablet checked by a computer expert if she continued to receive notifications from scammers. *Destruction of Property* Friday night an 18 year old at North Campus reported that her Chevy had been keyed. $500 in damage. A 22 year old man reported to Gillette Police that he had noticed his Ford Taurus had apparently been hit some time last week. $600 damage was done. Saturday night a woman reported that her Dodge Durango had its driver side doors dented and scratched while her 16 year old daughter had it parked at a friend's house. The vehicle looks like it had been hit with something metal. Damage is over $1000. Sunday morning at 1:30 a.m. a couple reported to Gillette Police that they had witnessed a 21 year old slash another man's tires on his Ford F-250. The suspect had reportedly been upset at having been asked to move out of his apartment. $400 damage, police are still trying to locate him. *Breach of Peace* Sunday night a pair of young girls reported to Gillette Police that a 20 year old had been pointing a BB gun at them. The man was found and cited with breach of peace. *In total*, GPD responded to 245 calls this weekend.
