(Gillette, Wyo.) Barry Stroble, who turned 18 this month, was one of the teenagers involved in a string of burglaries
committed last December.
Kenneth Brannen, Jesse Osborne, and Steven Riley were arrested January 29th
for multiple counts of aggravated burglary, receiving stolen goods, and
conspiracy to commit burglary, all in relation to thefts from a storage
unit and a private residence shortly before Christmas in 2015.
Sheriff's deputies had been interviewing Stroble in January about a
different crime, when he admitted to participating in a burglary in Wright
with Brannen, Osborne, and Riley, as well as two other minors. He had
reportedly also been driven by Osborne to a storage unit where he helped
Brannen remove property belonging to Hank's Roadside Bar & Grill.
While he was describing these burglaries to police, he provided them with a
list of stolen items that were eventually recovered and returned to the
Stroble was arrested Sunday afternoon on five felony counts of burglary,
and five felony counts of conspiracy. Each charge can bring a prison
sentence of 10 years, with a possible $10,000 fine.
