The Old City Hall Has a New Look

(Gillette, Wyo.) Tyler Miller of the Gillette Evening Rotary stood in front of a small crowd spilling on to Gillette Avenue this afternoon. He talked a little bit about the clock standing next to him on the corner of 4th and Gillette. It's 17 feet tall, it weighs 1200 pounds, and all four faces are illuminated, so you can see it clearly at night. But more importantly, it represents the work of both Rotary clubs and nearly 100 individual donors, in an effort to improve Gillette's downtown area. Gillette Main Street director Jessica Seders thanked everyone involved for being a part of creating a beautiful "town square" area for the city, right before helping cut the red ribbon to dedicate it: #county17 #news
