Campbell County man dies in Wyoming Prison

(Cheyenne, Wyo.) Douglas Howard Craft was sentenced to prison by Campbell County District Court Judge Michael Deegan in November of 2011. He was found guilty of possession of child pornography, and three different counts for sexual abuse of a minor. His prison term was to 6-8 years for the photos he texted to an underage girl, and 10-50 years for each abuse charge, all to be served consecutively. Instead, the Wyoming Medium Correctional Institution in Torrington, Wyoming reports that Craft died in custody on Saturday after a lengthy illness. The 45 year old was a Campbell County resident that was born in Sheridan, Wyoming. As per departmental policy an autopsy has been ordered. #county17 #news
