Dispatch: Multiple thefts; Teenage runaway; Public Intoxication

Here's what happened around Campbell County on Monday. All calls took place March 28th through early morning March 29th. All persons cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Arrests* *Braydon Danahoo, 23, Gillette*, arrested for two probation violations. *Jesse Sullivan, 60, Gillette*, arrested for a bench warrant. *Roman Vanberkom, 29, Gillette*, arrested for probation violation. *Rebecca Walter, 42, Gillette*, arrested for a bench warrant. *Calls* *Vandalism* 8:30 a.m. Monday on Hannum Road a 46 year old man reported that the word "bitch" had been written on his Chrysler Sebring in shaving cream, and four condoms full of shaving cream had been left on his car. *Runaway *A 16 year old girl was reported missing from her home Monday morning. She is considered a runaway and law enforcement is still searching for her. *Drugs* 12:45 p.m. on Hitt Blvd. and Swanson Rd. a construction crew found a needle laying on the side of the road. It didn't look like it had been used but it has been logged in to evidence for destruction. *Theft* 12:30 p.m. a 44 year old woman reported to Gillette Police that 10 oxycodone and 3 morphine pills were missing from her residence on North Gurley Ave. 1:30 p.m. stereo equipment was stolen out of a car on M & M Circle. Full story here . 3:15 p.m. a 37 year old woman reported to Sheriff's deputies that 36 oxycodone pills were taken from her home on Dawn Drive some time in the past week. *Fight* 3 p.m. on Blackbird Road a 15 year old got in a verbal argument with his stepfather. No charges were filed. *Suspicious Act* 4 p.m. on South Highway 59 kids were reportedly shooting near a radio tower. When Sheriff's deputies arrived, they found that the kids had shot a rabbit. They were given trespass warnings. *Child In Need* 5 p.m. in Wright a foster parent couple reported that their 8 year old had been throwing a tantrum and needed medical assistance. Deputies transported the child to the ER for the Department of Family Services to investigate. *Threats* 5:30 p.m. the Sheriff's Office received a report that a 44 year old woman had been yelling obscenities at her 33 year old neighbor after that neighbor's dog had escaped from the yard. The woman was warned about breach of peace for screaming. *Fraud* 9 a.m a man reported that he'd been getting mail addressed to someone with a similar name as him, but the middle initial was different. He was worried that his identity could have been stolen. 2:40 p.m. a 37 year old reported that he'd been bidding on a cabinet project on Mercantile Drive. His bid of $1000 was accepted, he was sent a check for $6500 and instructed to deposit $5500 to an account and keep $1000 for himself. The return address on the envelope was in Hempstead, Texas, and the name on the check was from Morgan Stanley of Baltimore Maryland. Police are investigating. 5:40 p.m. an 83 year old man reported to the Sheriff's Office that he has been repeatedly called by telephone scammers. 10:45 p.m. a 67 year old woman reported to police that someone had tricked her in to giving her personal information, including her Social Security number, credit card accounts, and online passwords, over social media. Police tracked the man to an account in Hampton Virginia. No money is yet missing but she was instructed to close all the accounts she'd given to him. *Public Intoxication* 5:45 p.m. the Flying J on South Douglas Highway reported that there was a man in the parking lot asking for gas. When police arrived they found the man, a 44 year old, as well as a 50 year old man, a 45 year old man, and a 27 year old woman in a Ford pickup truck. None of the four had driver's licenses, including the 45 year old, who was the driver. The truck's registration came back to another car and had expired in 2013. The driver was cited for driving with no license or registration. The 44 year old was warned to stop panhandling for gas. 8:40 p.m. on North Gurley Avenue, police found a 19 year old man reportedly under the influence of something. He was supposed to have started treatment at a facility today, the 29th, as part of his probation. His probation officer and EMS were contacted. He was transported to the hospital where it was found he had been taking meth and canniboids. #county17 #news
