Here are the latest weather predictions for Northeast Wyoming

(Gillette, Wyo.) Buffalo and most of Johnson County is still under a Blizzard Warning, but Campbell, Crook, and Weston Counties have been downgraded to "Winter Storm Watch." Less than an inch of snow is expected today, and less than 6" is expected in total by the end of the week, according to the National Weather Service. The problem, as is often the case, will be the winds, predicted to be between 20-40 miles an hour, making travel complicated during the heaviest snowfall. Right now roads between Gillette and Buffalo are wet, but roads from here to South Dakota are staying mostly dry. The changeover from rain to snow is the most difficult part to predict, according to the NWS center in Rapid City.
