Severe Winter Weather Watch Canceled

(Gillette, Wyo.) As you can probably tell if you've been out already today, the National Weather Service has dropped the Winter Weather Advisory for our area. There is still fog and visibility issues, but as far as snow, rain, and high winds, Gillette has ducked the brunt of the storm. According to Emergency Services Coordinator David King, there was 1-2 inches of rain southwest of Gillette, and 1 inch in town by 5 a.m. this morning. The National Weather Service is still warning about snow in our area through Thursday. Today's advisory has dropped to less than an inch, with warm temperatures possibly turning it all to rain. #county17 #news
