Miners' Hospital Board wants to remind you they can help

(Gillette, Wyo.) Mary Ellen Young, the Executive Director of the local Miners' Hospital Board service, is advising that people keep them in mind today. The State of Wyoming has a program in place that helps with medical and prescription expenses from hearing loss, cardiac, respiratory and musculoskeletal conditions related to mine work. You do not need to be an active miner to seek out these services. To qualify, you must have 12 consecutive months on a mine site and be a Wyoming resident. The program is free, but is for the miner only. "You all know how shift work, walking on concrete, working in dust or fumes and being bounced around in the equipment has effected your health," Young stated. "We will help you with the expenses." The Gillette office is at 2001 W. Lakeway Road, Suite B. You can also call 307-685-6827, or print off a registration from their website . #county17 #news
