Snow delays mail deliveries across Northern Wyoming

(Gillette, Wyo.) We might have missed the snow storm this week, but the rest of the state wasn't so lucky. If you were expecting a delivery tomorrow, it may not make it on time. Casper got anywhere from 10 to 16 inches of snow, depending on who you ask and where they live. The storm closed roads in and around the city all day today, and that's affected mail service all the way up here in Gillette. According to the Gillette Post Office, they've been asked to hold some outgoing mail tonight until the roads clear up. It could be anywhere from a matter of hours to a day that mail coming out of Casper will be delayed, as well. Some mail has made it through to be sorted overnight, so there won't be a complete stoppage of service. Road crews around the state are working overtime to make sure everything is cleared, but with more snow expected tonight and tomorrow, it's a guessing game as to when exactly mail service will continue as usual. #county17 #news
