School District Offers Help For Struggling Parents

(Gillette, Wyo.) The Campbell County School District is looking to provide a little bit of help to coal families that may be finding themselves in a difficult financial situation today. "We hope to provide nutritionally balanced, low-cost or free breakfast or lunch to all of our students who would benefit and a little peace of mind for their parents," said Senator Jeff Wasserburger in a press statement. Parents can apply to Campbell County School District at any time during the year for free and reduced price school meals for children. Application forms are available at the schools or district office and are usually approved within a day or two. Approved applications will be effective for the rest of this school year and for the first 30 student days of next year, even if your income goes back up by then. The Educational Services Center at 1000 West Eighth Street is open 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. during Spring Break. You can stop in today. If you have any questions, you can message them on our Facebook or call 307-682-5171. #county17 #news *Feature photo h/t CCSD // Pitchengine Communities*
