Missing North Dakota Man Found In Weston County During A Car Chase

(Newcastle, Wyo.) A vehicle pursuit in northeast Wyoming on April 11th has resulted in the arrest of a Bismarck, North Dakota man. The chase began Monday afternoon after a Wyoming State Trooper attempted to stop a northbound red 2004 Toyota passenger car for speeding. It was allegedly traveling 84 mph in a 70 mph zone on Highway 85, thirty miles south of Newcastle. The Toyota failed to stop for the Trooper with speeds reportedly increasing up to 105 mph. Four miles into the pursuit, the driver of the Toyota, 22 year old Payton Glasser, intentionally swerved off the highway causing the Toyota to roll multiple times. Glasser, a Bismarck resident, was taken to Weston County Health Services in Newcastle and treated for injuries sustained from the crash. It was discovered that Glasser had been listed as a missing person on April 8th by the Bismarck, North Dakota Police Department. After Glasser had received treatment at the hospital, he was booked into the Weston County Detention Center and has been charged with speeding, eluding and reckless driving. *Feature Photo: Toyota involved in the pursuit after the rollover crash. h/t Wyoming Highway Patrol // Pitchengine Communities* #county17 #news
