The 12th Annual Prairie Wind Culture Festival starts with lunch at 11 a.m.
on South Campus. There will be kids activities, an arts and crafts market,
and the Northern Cheyenne Dance Troupe will be performing. A full list of

At Noon, "For the Love of Cody," a walk against child abuse, starts in
front of the County Courthouse.
From 2 p.m. to 5 p.m., the YES House Foundation is hosting a bowl-a-thon,

5 p.m. the Apprentice Lineman Scholarship Banquet is at Energy Hall. That's
$50 a person, and includes a prime rib dinner and auction.
The Powder River Rousta-Bout-It Betties take on the ladies from Cody
Saturday night at 6 p.m. Tickets are $12 at the door, and benefit the Fur
The Powder River Symphony presents "Showcase!" at the Cam-Plex Heritage
Center at 3 p.m. Hear selections from Aaron Copland, Saint-Saens, and
Argentinean gaucho ballads. Adults are $20, students 18 and under are free.
7 p.m., an exhibition basketball game between Denver Broncos Alumni and
local D.A.R.E. officers takes places at North Campus High School. Tickets
are $XXX and benefit the Gillette A.M. Lions Foundation for the Blind and
the D.A.R.E. Scholarship Fund.
