Residents Advised To Park Off-Street For City-Wide Cleaning

(Gillette, Wyo.) Spring cleaning begins this week on the streets of Gillette! During the week, the Streets Division's sweeping and flushing trucks will sweep and flush major roads and subdivisions in city limits. They recommend that you park your vehicles off the streets until the trucks have made their way through, but that's not mandatory. Prior to entering the cleaning area, signs like the one above will be placed around subdivisions. They will be trying to remove as much debris from the streets and gutters as possible. Trash, yard waste, and dirt can collect and clog storm sewers and drains. Again, you are not required to move your car, but it will help. Here's the schedule for this week: - *Monday, May 2nd: (Area 1)* T-7 Lane, Wagonhammer Lane, Turkey Track Lane, Jack Plane Lane, LA Lane, Ship Wheel Lane, Hog Eye Drive, Ross Ave, 10th Street, 11th Street, Flying Circle Drive. - *Tuesday, May 3rd:* Continue Area 1 (above) - *Wednesday, May 4th: (Area 2)* Dalbey Avenue, Richards Avenue, Warren Avenue, 10th Street, 9th Street, 8th Street, Ross Avenue, Rockpile Avenue. - *Thursday, May 5th:* Highway 14/16, Highway 59 - *Friday, May 6th:* Continue Area 2 (Dalbey Avenue, Richards Avenue, Warren Avenue, 10th Street, 9th Street, 8th Street, Ross Avenue, Rockpile Avenue.)
