ALERT: Residents to experience water shut-off today

(Gillette, Wyo.) The City of Gillette announced that 801, 716, 713, 709, 708, 705 and 701 Rodeo Street will be experiencing a loss of water from approximately 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. today. They cite the reason for this temporary shut-off as the connection of the new water main in Rosecreek Drive to the existing water main on Rodeo Street. This is part of the 2015 Water Main Replacement Project funded by the Optional 1% Sales Tax. There will also be a temporary water shut-off on Saturday, May 7th from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. for the Wagon Wheel School, and homes on the 900 block of North Fir Avenue. This is also to allow the installation of a new water main from North Fir Avenue to the existing water main in 4th Avenue. That's part of the 2015 Sanitary Sewer Main Replacement funded by the Optional 1% Sales Tax. If you have any questions you can contact contact Communications Manager Geno Palazzari at (307) 686-5393.
