Residents Asked to Park Off-Street for Street Cleaning

(Gillette, Wyo.) Spring cleaning continues this week on the streets of Gillette! During the week, the Streets Division's sweeping and flushing trucks will sweep and flush major roads and subdivisions in city limits. They recommend that you park your vehicles off the streets until the trucks have made their way through, but that's not mandatory. Prior to entering the cleaning area, signs like the one above will be placed around subdivisions. They will be trying to remove as much debris from the streets and gutters as possible. Trash, yard waste, and dirt can collect and clog storm sewers and drains. Again, you are not required to move your car, but it will help. Here's the schedule for this week: - *Monday, May 23rd*: (Area 7) Stanley Avenue, Church Avenue, Elon Avenue, 5th Street, 7th Street, 8th Street, 10th Street, Apple Blossom Way, Providence Lane, Wisteria Court, Carmel Court, Avalon Court - *Tuesday, May 24th*: Finish Area 7 - *Wednesday, May 25th*: (Area 8) Sierra Glen Subdivision - *Thursday, May 26th*: Foothills Boulevard, Echeta Road, 1st Street, Burma Avenue - *Friday, May 27th*: Finish Area 8 #county17 #news
