Unemployment Rates Still on the Rise; State Agencies Working to Help

(Gillette, Wyo.) Campbell County now has the highest unemployment rate in Wyoming, according to data published today by the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services. Unemployment numbers rose in six counties across the state, and in Campbell County jumped from 7.1% to 7.9%, which is well over the national average of 5%. And it's well over the 3.6% rate reported at this time a year ago -- a 119% jump. Gillette College is one of the agencies hoping to help those looking for new employment.
