(Gillette, Wyo.) The city of Gillette is closing several alleyways and roads due to sewer main replacement and more this weekend. You can always check their online street map
to find out where you're going to run in to construction.
There will also be a temporary water shut-off on Brooks Avenue from 400-605
Railroad Street to 400-600 Lincoln Street. A water valve is being replaced
on Railroad Street as part of the 2016 Pavement Management Schedule A
*Railroad Street* will be closed at the intersection of *Brooks Avenue*
from *Friday May 27th through Friday, June 10th*. Brooks Avenue will remain
open in this area.
There will be an emergency street closure for *Mills Avenue* between *Radio
Road* and *Collins Road* from *Friday, May 20th through Friday, May 27th*.
The reason for this closure is for replacement of the damaged water main.
*3rd Street* at the intersection of the alley between *4J Road and Rockpile
Boulevard* will be closed through *Friday, June 24th*. The adjacent alley
will be closed between 3rd Street and 4th Street as well. The reason for
this closure is for construction activities associated with the 2016 Alley
Pavement Management Schedule project.
*Fir Avenue *from 4th Avenue to 5th Avenue will be closed through *Monday,
June 13th *for a water main replacement. *Fir Avenue* from 1st Street
Road *will be closed through *Monday, June 13th* for installation of a new
Sanitary Sewer Main.
*Rose Creek Drive* from Rodeo Street to* Belle Fourche Street* will be
closed through *Wednesday, June 8*. *Rose Creek Drive* from Rodeo
Street to *Glacier
Drive* will be closed through *Friday, June 10th*. The reason for this
closure is for installation of new water mains, and associated asphalt
*Brooks Avenue* will be closed from Lakeside Drive to Longmont Street
through *Monday, June 6th*, for replacement of the road surface.
The north lane of *Westover Road* will be closed until *Friday, June 10th*,
to allow for the repair of the pathway on the north side of Westover.
