, State Archaeologist Greg Pierce
will be visiting this summer to help survey the land surrounding the Vore
The site hoping for volunteers to assist in the archaeological survey of
the area around the sinkhole next week. Volunteers are needed June 6th
-10th from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. They'll be looking for signs of campsites and
rock cairns (as shown in the photo) that might have marked buffalo drive

The site is open to the public today through Labor Day, from 8 a.m. to 6
p.m. Entrance fee is $7 per person with a $20 maximum per family.
