Basin Radio's CANmade Creations opens at 9 a.m. in the Cam-Plex Wyoming
Center. You can check out the sculptures made from canned goods and vote on
your favorite. Admission is a canned food item that will go to the Council
of Community Services.
The 2016 Energy Capital Car Show is Saturday and Sunday from 10 - 8 and 10
- 4 at Cam-Plex's Central Pavilion. That's $5 a person.
Fashionable Fare, the tea party and fashion show hosted by the Rockpile
Musuem, starts at 2 p.m. Admission is free, but seating is limited.
The 10th Annual Lori Brown Golf Memorial starts at 8 a.m. at the Hay Creek
Golf Club in Wright. The four person scramble is $65 a person, with cash
prizes awarded for hole in ones on the Par 3s. Proceeds from the event
provide scholarships to local students.
The Reno Junction Travel Plaza will be hosting their grand opening ceremony
with games, giveaways, and food. That's located on Highway 59 in Wright.
