(Moorcroft, Wyo.) Yesterday we reported
on the Crook County Fire Marshal's
fire ban that will go in to full effect on Monday for most of Northeast
The restrictions include campfires in Keyhole State Park, including fires
in approved fire rings.
According to the Department of State Parks: "As part of the fire ban, all
trash or refuse fires, camp fires and charcoal fires are prohibited.
Petroleum fueled stoves, lanterns or heating devices are permitted if they
meet fire and underwriters specifications for safety."
Smoking is also prohibited except if you are in a car or building. So far
this is the only fire ban in any state park so far this year. There is no
fire ban in Campbell County at this time.
For more information you can call the park at 307-756-3596.
