He allowed 3 runs on 5 hits, 3 walks, and 5 strike outs, helping Gillette to win 9-3. The team put together a nice game on defense turning two double plays and only had 1 error. Gillette moved on to play Billings Black Sox, and after struggling to find the strike zone in the first inning and allowing 5 runs, Dillon Naramore came in to pitch the next 5 innings. He held the eventual champion team to 3 runs over his 5 innings, but Gillette fell short, losing 8-5. It was a 1-0 defensive battle for the first three innings, with Ashante Moon having a strong outing on the mound. He had 6 strike outs over five innings with 5 hits and 2 walks. Gillette rallied for 5 runs in the 5th inning behind some great at bats by the bottom of the lineup and a 3 RBI double by Davis Tennant.
