One-Car Crash South of Sheridan Results in Fatality

(Sheridan, Wyo.) On Friday, June 17th around 5 p.m., 60 year old Arvada, Wyoming resident Donald Malli was traveling west on Highway 14/16, about 55 miles southeast of Sheridan. Malli was driving a 2002 Buick Park Avenue passenger car, and according to Wyoming Highway Patrol, the Buick failed to properly negotiate a curve in the highway. Malli over-corrected, crossed the center line, and left the highway. The car tripped and rolled in the ditch. Malli was ejected during the rollover as he was not wearing his seat belt, and sustained fatal injuries on scene. Driver inattention is being investigated as a contributing factor in this crash that marked the 37th highway fatality in Wyoming for 2016. There were 59 fatalities during this same time period in 2015. #county17 #dally #news
