Bringing Native Cultures to Gillette: Rockpile Museum Hosts Lakota Dancer

(Gillette, Wyo.) The first entry in to the Rockpile Museum's Summer Series starts tomorrow. It's the first time the Museum will put on a monthly free show for the community, to take place right on the front lawn of the museum. Starr Chief Eagle says she has been dancing before she could walk. Raised in the Black Hills by her father, Master Hoop Dancer Dallas Chief Eagle, she learned from her family the art of hoop dancing that has been passed down for generations.
