Tips For Designing Attractive Fabric Pop Up Displays For Tradeshows

Fabric pop up displays are an important resource for anyone looking to stand out at a tradeshow or other event. They can also be used to make a big impact in your workplace, as they’re a great addition to your point of sale material. This is only going to be possible, however, if you’ve gotten the design right. The display should be treated just like any other part of your marketing strategy – it is, after all, a way of promoting your brand, products or services to a captive audience.

To ensure that you’ve gotten the right look for your pop up displays, we have shared our top 5 tips for their design:

1.    Logo

The very top of the display should always be reserved to display your business’ logo and core message. It’s important that you have your main message at eye level – whether this is your business slogan, an image of your product or website, it should always be placed at the level that is most likely to grab someone’s attention as they walk past.

2.    Left to Right

When filling your display with information, remember that people are used to reading from left to right and top to bottom. It’s also important that you include only relevant information and that you keep the amount of words to a minimum. Remember that more information can always be provided by your sales team or by using brochures and other marketing material, so don’t feel the need to repeat it all the time.

3.    Images

If you’re going to include any images on the display (particularly product images), then you need to ensure that they’re of high quality. At the very least, they should be 300 dpi and saved as CMYK (ready for print). Don’t pull an image from a website and drop it into your design, as it is likely to be of poor quality and saved as RGB. Remember that you’re trying to capture people’s attention and draw them to you.

4.    Colour

When designing your display, colour should be your friend. Colours can help you to stand out, but they must tie in and work well with your existing corporate colours. It’s also important to consider the impact of background colour on text and images – they must be clear and easy to read at all times. Ensure that you avoid using white and yellow together, for example, as it can be hard to read from a distance.

5.    Contact Details

One final thing to keep in mind for your design is your contact details – this is especially important when it comes to events, as you may not be able to talk to everyone who attends. Contact details provide people with a means on how to contact you should they want to use your products or services. Include at least one of the following: your website, contact number, email address, workplace address, and/or social media icons.

We hope that the above tips have given you everything that you need to know to design the most attractive fabric pop up displays. It’s all about the logo, images, colour and your contact details. Even so, we highly recommend employing the services of a professional graphic designer – they will be able to create a professional design that helps you stand out from the crowd. This is especially important if you have little to no design experience.
