(Sheridan, Wyo.) — Here is Tuesday, Nov. 3 recap of law enforcement activity in the Sheridan area. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Sheridan Police Department* *Arrests* Jillian Nielsen, 21, Sheridan, was arrested on a Municipal Bench Warrant at 9:32 a.m. on Avoca Place. Randy McDonald, 51, Cheyenne, was arrested on two warrants from Laramie County after a disturbance at a motel at 3:45 p.m. on North Main Street. Michel Burtenshaw, 18, Sheridan, was arrested for a county warrant at 9:30 p.m. on Coffeen Avenue during a traffic stop. Driver of the vehicle was cited for possession of controlled substance in plant form. *Calls* Officers assisted the Sheridan County Sheriff's Office at 4:12 a.m. on First Avenue West when a Sheridan County shooting suspect was located by the Sheridan Police Department during a traffic stop. Officers responded to a complaint at 7:11 a.m. on N. Jefferson Street that there was a wheelchair on the side of an embankment along the community walking paths. Upon investigation, wheelchair was left their last night by owner who had been drinking alcohol. Wheelchair was returned to owner. Officers responded to a trespass call at 7:55 a.m. on Mydland Road when a male and female were found to be trespassing onto trailer park property. Officers are attempting to locate male and female for issuance of trespassing citations. Officers removed a subject at 11:20 a.m. on North Main Street. Officers responded to a hit and run at 12:09 p.m. on North Heights Road when complaint was made of of a mail box having sustained damage after being struck by a vehicle. Officers responded to a careless driving report at 12:23 p.m. on North Sheridan Avenue when an off-duty deputy complained of a driver in a Ford driving erratically and nearly causing an accident. Driver was located and cited for unsafe lane change. Officers responded to a report of battery at 1:43 p.m. on Big Horn Avenue when a male reported being threatening to an intoxicated male with a knife. Officers responded to a report of battery at 1:54 p.m. on Lewis Street when a juvenile male punched another juvenile male after a brief verbal altercation. Officers responded to a theft report at 2:13 p.m. on Coffeen Avenue when complaint was made of an employee stealing cash from register and misusing the customer rewards program. Employee was cited for theft. Officers responded to a report of a runaway at 3:40 p.m. on Avon Street when a female, 16, checked herself out of school and did not return home. Female returned home before being located by Law Enforcement. A driver was cited for possession of a controlled substance-marijuana following a traffic stop at 4:50 p.m. on E. Fifth Street. Officers responded to a report of animal cruelty at 5:40 p.m. on E. Timberline Drive when a complaint was made of a cat shot by a high-powered pellet gun. Officers responded to a harassment complaint at 6:30 p.m. on West Burrows Street when complaint of harassment from a neighbor through Facebook postings was made. A traffic stop resulted in one adult male being cited for driving with a suspended drivers license at 10:44 p.m. on E.
