Reilly designed the 2015 Christmas Stroll button for the Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce
Christmas Stroll, with the theme "Rock 'n' Stroll" in mind. The big event
is Nov. 27 from 4-8 p.m., but Sheridan shoppers will have the chance to win
up to $4,000 in Chamber Bucks through Christmas Eve in the "Get Caught
Shopping" local campaign.
The Committee received around 30 entries this year, and has the very
difficult task of determining a winner each year, Chamber Director Dixie
See said this afternoon.
"Were you wondering all summer long to see who won?" See asked.
"Yes!" Ashley responded, who is now a sixth-grader at Sheridan Junior High,
Mayor John Health said it is a good sign for the Stroll activities and shop
local campaign that the first snow fell on the day Ashley received her
framed Stroll Button design and award of $100 in Chamber Bucks.
Buttons will be on sale at the Chamber and participating businesses for $5.
