Suspect in Halloween shooting charged with attempted second degree murder

Todd Faas h/t photo Sheridan County Sheriff's Office (Sheridan, Wyo.) — Bighorn resident Todd Faass, 49, was charged with Suspect in Halloween shooting charged with felony counts of intent to commit murder and attempted murder in the second degree in Sheridan Circuit Court today. Faass is charged with the crimes in a shooting Saturday, Oct. 31, on Hwy 335 near Big Horn. Faass was arrested for aggravated assault and battery Tuesday after a three-day cooperative effort and investigation by the Sheridan County Sheriff’s Office, Wyoming Division of Criminal Investigation, Sheridan Police Department and the Wyoming Highway Patrol. The prosecution alleges that Faass shot victim 18-year-old Tyler Lindberg from another vehicle around 10:30 p.m. on Halloween. Faass allegedly passed Lindberg in his vehicle when Lindberg was struck. He was then transported to Sheridan Memorial Hospital by Rocky Mountain Ambulance and was treated and released. #dally
