Sheridan College Outdoor Adventure Club gear swap this weekend

(Sheridan, Wyo.) — There will be a community gear swap hosted by the Sheridan College Outdoor Adventure Club on Saturday from 8 a.m.-2 p.m. in the Whitney Atrium. An equipment swap like this has two benefits — it's a chance to clean out your garages and gear closets, and it allows people to shop for used equipment, according to the club. Admission is free. To sell used equipment, there will be a drop-off period Friday, Nov. 13, from 3-8 p.m. Sellers are asked to bring gear to the Whitney Atrium, pay the entry fees, and set a price for each item. There's a cost of $2 per item for sale, plus 10% of each sale will go to the Outdoor Adventure Club. After the sale, people can pick up unsold gear on Saturday, November 14, 3-5 p.m. Donations of equipment will also be graciously accepted. For more information, call Ann Storey at 674-6446 Ext 2307. *h/t Sheridan County Chamber of Commerce / Pitchengine Communities* #dally #whatshappening
