(Wyoming) — Wyoming State Treaurer Mark Gordon has been named one of the Sovereign Wealth Fund Institute
's 100 most
significant and impactful public investor executives.
"These men and women command billions of assets, impacting the lives of
stakeholders and constituents globally," the list summary states.

The list appeared in the October issue of the Sovereign Wealth Quarterly.
According to the State Treasurer's Office, the office invests over $19
billion in state funding each year.
"We distribute millions of dollars in state and federal funds prescribed by
law to local governments, the University of Wyoming, Wyoming community
colleges, rural hospitals, county libraries and state agencies," it's
Gordon, listed for oversight of the state's Permanent Mineral Trust Fund,
sits at #58 on the list, between Jan Willem van Oostveen, financial and
investment policy manager for PFZW in the Netherlands, and Norman Chan,
chief executive at the Hong Kong Monetary Authority.
Gordon grew up on the family ranch west of Kaycee and has had agricultural
operations in Johnson, Sheridan and Campbell counties.
