(Sheridan, Wyo.) — The Advocacy & Resource Center is working on its annual donation campaign, and an anonymous donor has agreed to match funds received up to $25,000. [image: Inline image 2] "Help us make this our best year yet by donating today!" the Center says on its Facebook page. Over the past two days, the campaign has raised $2,040. "Not bad for our first day(s) of opening responses to our annual donation letter!" the Center says. [image: Inline image 1] Most of the victims served by the Center are fleeing immediate violence, and have fled alone or with their children. Oftentimes these people have left all personal belongings behind. The Center is overflowing with clothing and can not take anymore at this time. The Center needs: - new full-sized toiletries - household items such as cutlery, plates, glasses, and bowls - bedding such as sheets, pillowcases and blankets - bath linens such as towels and washcloths - other items one would immediately need when setting up a new household such as tables and chairs, small sofas or beds The Center can't pick up donations, but donations can be delivered to the Center during office hours Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 3 p.m. Staff is not available to take in donations after hours or on weekends so please do not leave them by doors in case they get damaged by weather or stolen. *Feature photo h/t Advocacy & Resource Center Facebook / Pitchengine Communities * #dally #news
