(Los Angeles) — Wyoming Governor Matt Mead is in Los Angeles tonight with representatives from The Wyoming Office of Tourism at the Disney-Pixar premiere of "The Good Dinosaur." The film used Wyoming landscapes
as inspiration for
its setting. Mead's formal invite came from The Wyoming Office of Tourism.
"He elected to attend as a way to interface with large media outlets and
draw attention to Wyoming," Seth Waggener, communications consultant with
the Governor's Office said.
"The film shows off geological offerings in Wyoming, and the Governor wants
people to know that Wyoming is the perfect place to experience those in
real life," Waggener continued. "The Governor and Wyoming Office of Tourism
believe this film will have a positive impact on Wyoming's image as a
premier tourist destination."
"The Good Dinosaur" will be released to the public Nov. 25.
