(Sheridan, Wyo.) — Strong winds continue to blow
across the state, causing damage in
many communities and closures and advisories on several roadways.
In Sheridan, winds are sustained at 35 mph and gusting 46 mph.
In Gillette, downed trees have caused damage to private property. This
photo was taken this morning on Rohan Avenue in Gillette. Weather.com says
winds are sustained at 47 mph, gusting to 62 mph in Gillette.

The Wyoming Department of Transportation reported that a crash on Highway
287 at milepost 41 between Muddy Gap and Lamont closed the highway in all
directions. Details about the crash are not yet available, but WYDOT says
all lanes are blocked and delays should be expected.
