Commercial air service returns to Sheridan

(Sheridan, Wyo.) — Key Lime Air made its first commercial landing in Sheridan today around 11:30 a.m., and then at 12:45 p.m., the first passengers departed for Denver. In line just ahead of Sheridan County Commissioner Bob Rolston, who said he was headed to Denver on the first Key Lime flight, was Sheridan resident Diana Lees — she was traveling from Sheridan to Denver and on to New York City. "My brother is getting married Sunday," Lees said. "This is much easier than driving to Billings, with the weather and extra travel time." In addition to travelers, the Sheridan-Johnson County Critical Air Service Team celebrated the first day of Sheridan's new air service, Key Lime dba Denver Air Connection, with an open house at the Sheridan County Airport Terminal. *Visitors sampled Black Tooth Brewing Company's beers at CAST open house at the Sheridan County Airport Terminal today. / Pitchengine Communities* *Sheridan County Commissioner Bob Rolston waits as Diana Lees check in to her flight.
