Dispatch: Deer shot in management area wanders into private property; Counterfeit money used at Maverick North

(Sheridan, Wyo.) — Here is the Monday, Nov. 30, recap of law enforcement activity in the Sheridan area. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Arrests* Ryan Weglin, 21, Sheridan, was arrested on an arrest and hold from Probation and Parole at 11:02 a.m. on Coffeen Avenue. Jacob Olson 25, Sheridan, was arrested for warrants out of Sheridan municipal and circuit courts along with a warrant out of Campbell County at 7:30 p.m. on W. Fifth Street. *Calls * Officers assisted the Sheridan County Sheriff's Office with a suspicious vehicle, resulting in one male cited for possession of a controlled substance, at 3:07 a.m. on N. Main Street. Officers responded to a two-vehicle accident at 8:33 a.m. on Scott Street. No injuries. One driver cited for failure to yield to vehicle in intersection. Officers removed a subject at 8:52 a.m. on N. Jefferson Street. Officers responded to a theft report at 10:22 a.m. on Mydland Road when report was made of a credit card fraud and theft from residence. Upon investigation, said thefts took place over a year ago. Case suspended pending further information and documentation needed from reporting party. A male subject of Sheridan was cited for driving under suspension following a traffic stop at 10:24 a.m. on S. Gould Street. Officers assisted an off-duty firefighter with a woman who fell on the sidewalk at 10:24 a.m. on N. Main Street. Officers responded to a counterfeiting report at 11:08 a.m. on N. Main Street when an individual used counterfeit money to make purchase at Maverick North. Case under investigation. Officers assisted an agency at 11:25 a.m. on Long Drive when a reporting party said he had been told about an issue in the home of a student. Investigation is ongoing. Officers responded to a report of battery at 11:36 a.m. on N. Main Street. Officers responded to the emergency room to take a report of cold battery. A male subject was assaulted in the early evening hours of Nov. 27, 2015. Case under investigation. Officers responded to a report of a violation of a protection order at 12:11 p.m. on Avoca Place. Case under investigation. Officers responded when a deer shot in a deer management area was unable to be located it as it crossed into private property at 12:13 p.m. on Bender Lane. Officers took report of a delayed hit and run at 2 p.m. on Coffeen Avenue. Officers responded to a domestic call at 3:06 p.m. on Delphi Avenue, found no domestic had occurred. Officers responded to a fraud at 3:22 p.m. on Coffeen Avenue. Officers responded to a report of a 17-year-old female runaway at 4:05 p.m. Case is under investigation. Sheridan County Sheriff's Office Officers responded to a report of possession of drugs at 3:05 a.m. on N. Main Street in Sheridan. Officers responded to a violation of a restraining order at 10:40 a.m. on Prairie Spring Lane in Sheridan.
