Dispatch: County resident told not to place trash in city resident's receptacle; Virginia Toys for Tots headquarters alerts PD about possible toy theft

(Sheridan, Wyo.) — Here is the Tuesday, Dec. 1, recap of law enforcement activity in the Sheridan area. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Sheridan Police Department * *Arrests* Sascha Hess, 24, Sheridan, was arrested on Municipal Court warrant at 8:36 a.m. on W. 12th Street. *Calls* Officers responded to a trespass report regarding an adult female from a business per the clerk’s request at 12:09 a.m. on N. Main Street. Officers responded to an altercation at a bar at 12:29 a.m. on N. Main Street. One male was cited for trespassing and one male was cited for battery. Officers responded to a request for a trespass warning to be issued at 8:39 a.m. on N. Main Street. Complaint was made of an individual placing trash into other resident trash cans at 8:50 a.m. on Val Vista Street. Individual, who lived in the county, was contacted and instructed not to place residential trash in city trash cans. Officers responded to a report of a bank receiving a counterfeit $10 bill at 9:27 a.m. on N. Main Street. Officers responded to an accident at 9:45 a.m. on Works Street when an Isuzu entered intersection after stopping at posted stop sign. Driver of the Isuzu failed to yield to right of way cross traffic causing the Isuzu to collide with a Nissan. Driver of Isuzu was cited for Running Stop Sign-Failure to Yield. Officers responded to a report of a possible child abuse at 10:25 a.m. on Ponderosa Drive. Officers responded to a report of possible criminal activity at 11:28 a.m. on Avon Street. Officers received a complaint from the Virginia Toys for Tots headquarters about the possible theft or misrepresentation of toys sent to the Sheridan Chapter at 11:51 a.m. on Brundage Lane. Officers responded to a lost property report at 12:45 p.m. on E. Brundage Lane when a wallet was found on the on ramp to I90. Wallet was returned to the owner. Complaint was taken of two adults harassing each other via Facebook at 1:55 p.m. on Dunnuck Street. Both parties agreed to stop. Officers responded to a hit and run at 3:02 p.m. on Coffeen Avenue. Report was that a parked and unattended Toyota sustained damage after being struck by an unknown vehicle. Officers responded to a report of fraud at 3:50 p.m. on Warren Avenue. Report was of a local individual having made an agreement with an out of state individual regarding the trading of nonmonetary items. Local individual complained that the items he had received in trade were fake. A traffic stop resulted in one male juvenile being cited for possession of marijuana at 10:35 p.m. on Big Horn Avenue. *Sheridan County Sheriff's Office* Officers conducted warrant service at 9:08 a.m. on Adkins Street in Sheridan. Officers responded to a damaged property report at 10:30 a.m. on Hwy 14 in Dayton. Officers responded to an accident at 1:42 p.m. on Meade Creek Road, mile marker 2.3, in Sheridan. Officers assisted the Wyoming Highway Patrol at 5:52 p.m. on Big Horn Avenue, mile marker 1.8, in Sheridan. Officers removed a subject at 8:34 p.m. on Coffeen Avenue in Sheridan.
