(Sheridan, Wyo.) — The Sheridan Brewery was built in the mid-1880s, and by 1954 was producing 60,000 barrels of beer annually, according to the Sheridan County Historical Society & Museum. During prohibition the brewery switched to producing Can-A-Pop, and was the first plant in the produce a flat-top soft drink canned beverage.
