(Sheridan, Wyo.) — Here is the Friday, Dec. 11-Sunday, Dec. 13, recap of law enforcement activity in the Sheridan area. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Sheridan Police Department* *Arrests* *Friday* Samantha Ballan, 20, Sheridan, was arrested for a Municipal warrant and a Circuit warrant at 9:35 a.m. on N. Timberline Dr. Michael Sanchez, 43, Sheridan, was arrested at for a warrant out of Johnson County and possession of a controlled substance at 2:09 p.m. on Broadway Street. Brenden Chivers, 19, Sheridan, was arrested for possession of a controlled substance at 5:48 p.m. on Coffeen Avenue. *Saturday* John Diaz, 66, Sheridan, was arrested for DWUI following a traffic stop at 11:23 a.m. on S. Scott Street. *Sunday* An unidentified female was arrested for domestic battery at 2:44 p.m. on South Main Street. John Cranford, 32, Sheridan, was arrested for public intoxication after becoming aggressive with hospital staff at 10:22 p.m. on W. Fifth Street. *Calls* *Friday* Officers removed a subject at 12:09 a.m. on Coffeen Avenue. Officers received a 911 hang up call at 3:47 a.m. on N. Timberline Drive. Officers conducted a welfare check at 6:21 a.m. on Coffeen Avenue when it was requested for a male subject that was yelling in his hotel room. The subject was contacted and found to be okay. The subject was warned about being noisy. Surrendered drugs from the Drug Take Back program were destroyed at 6:30 a.m. on W. 12th Street. Officers responded to a theft report at 9:41 a.m. on W. Kooi Street and took a report of the theft of item from a local business. Items taken sometime in the past 9 months. Officers responded to a removal of a subject request at 10:17 a.m. on Coffeen Avenue. After speaking with subject it was determined to be a medical issue. Subject transported to hospital. Officers responded to a careless driver report at 10:50 a.m. on Thurmond Street. Officers responded to a report of drug activity at 12:44 p.m. on Long Drive. Officers responded to a theft report at 12:46 p.m. on Kurtz Drive. Investigation is continuing. Officers responded to a report of drug activity at 1:06 p.m. in the Sheridan area. Officers responded to an accident reported at 3:22 p.m. on E. Brundage Lane when a Dodge entering traffic from a parking lot cut off the lane of travel and collided with a Chevrolet. Driver of Dodge cited for failure to yield right of way. Driver of Chevrolet cited for expired temporary tags. A juvenile was issued a citation for minor in possession of tobacco after being found to have an electronic cigarette at 3:24 p.m. on Lewis Street. Officers cited a female for driving under suspension at 4:56 p.m. on N. Main Street. Officers responded to a deer v. vehicle crash at 5:12 p.m. on Big Horn Avenue. Officers responded to a dispute at 5:29 p.m. on Coffeen Avenue when complaint was made of a person banging and yelling on door. Subject was contacted and issued a trespass warning for the property. Officers responded to an accident at 6:32 p.m. on Heald Street when a Chevrolet backed into a Toyota while attempting a UTurn. Juvenile driver of the Chevrolet was cited for unsafe backing of vehicle. Officers responded to a report of stolen Christmas lights from the front yards of two properties at 9:34 p.m. on E. Third Street. A 17-year-old male runaway turned himself in and wanted to be reunited with his family at 10:13 p.m. on Coffeen Avenue. Male was returned to his family. Officers responded to a DUI-Reddi report at 10:54 p.m. on Brundage Lane. *Saturday* Officers responded to a domestic choking incident at 12:40 a.m. on Long Drive. Officers contacted both parties and one male was arrested for strangulation of household member. Officers responded to an assault at 12:51 a.m. on N. Main Street. A male subject reported that his now ex-girlfriend broke the window out of his truck and assaulted him. Assault was unfounded. Officers responded to a verbal dispute at 12:54 a.m. on N. Sheridan Avenue. Four juveniles were cited for curfew violation following a traffic stop at 1:43 a.m. on N. Main Street. Three females were given rides back to their residence. A male subject was cited for possession of a controlled substance in plant form at 11:29 a.m. on LaClede Street. Officers responded to a complaint of a noisy vehicle speeding in a residential neighborhood at 12:04 p.m. on Huntington Street. Parent requested police assistance in calming an out of control child at 12:11 p.m. on Avoca Place. A delayed accident report was filed by Sheridan resident at 12:45 p.m. on Coffeen Avenue. Officers responded to an accident at 1:03 p.m. on Coffeen Avenue when a Chevrolet collided with a Dodge in parking lot. Driver of the Chevrolet was cited for careless driving. Officers responded to a report of a vicious dog at 1:21 pm. on Demple Street. Complaint was that of a loose dog that attacked 3 other dogs. The dog has been taken to the Animal Shelter. Officers responded to an accident report at 1:53 p.m. on Birch Street when the owner of a Chevrolet complained that his vehicle had been involved in an accident sometime in the last three days. Officers conducted a bar check at 2:47 p.m. on N. Main Street. Officers responded to a dispute at 3:38 p.m. on Mydland Road when request was made for removal of subject. Landlords were able to have subject removed without Police involvement. Officer was flagged down for found property at 3:50 p.m. on W. 11th Street. Property logged into evidence. Owner located and is currently incarcerated in SCSO jail. Officers responded to a DUI-Reddi report at 5:54 p.m. on W. Fifth Street. Officers responded to an accident at 8:44 p.m. on W. Fourth Street when a GMC entering roadway from driveway collided with a Ford. Driver of the GMC was cited for failure to yield when entering roadway. A female was cited for passing a stopped school bus at 8:50 p.m. on Coffeen Avenue. Two juveniles were cited for drug use/possession following a traffic stop at 9:05 p.m. on E. Brundage Lane. A traffic stop resulted in the driver being issued a citation for driving while license suspended at 10:57 p.m. on Works Street. Officers conducted a bar check at 11:40 p.m. on N. Main Street. Officer contacted two individuals, one was a juvenile male who was issued a citation for violation of his I2C license restriction and giving a verbal warning for being out past curfew. Officers conducted a removal of a subject at 1:39 a.m. on N. Main Street. One adult male was cited for drug paraphernalia following an unfounded complaint of a domestic dispute at 1:59 a.m. on Coffeen Avenue. Officers responded to reports of a car being egged at 11:14 a.m. on North Heights Avenue. Officers assisted a motorist at 12:18 p.m. on S. Thurmond Street. Officers responded to suspicious circumstances at 12:40 p.m. on S. Sheridan Avenue. A male complained of having been asked by a female friend to pick her up. When the male arrived he was approached by two other males in an aggressive manner. Male complainant was able to drive away without incident. Officers responded to a damaged property report at 2:35 p.m. on N. Main Street when complaint was made of several tires being found flat on vehicle. Officers responded to a report of threats at 4:29 p.m. on Coffeen Avenue. Officers responded to a hit and run at 5:14 p.m. on N. Main Street. Complaint was of a parked-attended Dodge having been struck by another vehicle. Suspect vehicle left the scene. Officers responded to a domestic incident at 7:03 p.m. on E. Seventh Street. Domestic was determined to be a verbal disagreement. Officers responded to a domestic incident at 9:52 p.m. on W. Fifth Street. Officers responded to a domestic dispute at 10:09 p.m. on Val Vista Street. Complaint was of family fight. Complaint was determined to be parents disciplining children within the scope of the law. Officers responded to five other suspicious subject/vehicle calls; two alarm reports; nine abandoned vehicle, VIN inspection or parking complaints; seven barking dog or animal calls; two medical reports; and three welfare checks in the Sheridan area over the weekend. *Sheridan County Sheriff's Office* *Friday* Officers responded to a welfare check at 12:42 a.m. on W. Officers conducted warrant service at 1:31 p.m. on Rosebud Lane in Story. Officers responded to a careless driver reported at 6:12 p.m. on Big Horn Avenue in Sheridan.
