(Sheridan, Wyo.) — The City of Sheridan Streets Division is well prepared for the upcoming storm, according to Mathers Heuck, operations superintendent for the City of Sheridan. "We have crews scheduled to cover all hours of the day," Heuck told Dally. "They will be plowing snow and applying sand to any areas that may become icy. "If the forecast proves to be correct we will probably pick up snow on Tuesday night. We will use our text club, social media and reverse 911 to notify residents if a snow route is active. Vehicles won't be able to park on these streets so that snow can be picked up," Heuck said. Since Sheridan hasn't seen much snow yet this year, drivers may be a little out of practice on wintery roads, he added. "My advice would be for everyone to allow a little more time for getting around town so that you are not rushed and get into an accident," Heuck said.
