(Sheridan, Wyo.) — Here is the Thursday, Dec. 17, recap of law enforcement activity in the Sheridan area. All persons arrested or cited are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. *Sheridan Police Department * *Arrests* Matthew J. Bates, 31, Sheridan was arrested for DWUI, driving while suspended, and two outstanding warrants at 1 a.m. on Mydland Road. Sallie Small, 47, Sheridan, was arrested for a Municipal warrant at 7:33 a.m. on W. Fifth Street. Gerald Conda, 28, Buffalo, was arrested for possession of controlled substance in plant form (no more than 3 ounces) at 11:07 a.m. on Coffeen Avenue. *Calls* Officers conducted a bar check at 12: 46 a.m. on N. Main Street. Officers responded to a parking complaint at 7:17 a.m. on Coffeen Avenue when they received report of a vehicle left on private property. Vehicle slid off hill and was stuck. Upon officer's arrival, drug paraphernalia was observed inside the vehicle. Vehicle towed and cited for parking infraction. Officers responded to an accident at 7:33 a.m. on W. Fifth Street when report was made of a traffic accident at a local business. Both parties were contacted. One driver was cited for unsafe backing of vehicle. Officers responded when a woman reported strange circumstances at her home at 8:16 a.m. on Birch Street. Officers responded to an accident at 10:46 a.m. on N. Main Street. Officers responded to a hit and run at 12:02 p.m. on N. Main Street. Officers arrested a female subject for domestic battery at 3:06 p.m. on N. Custer Street. Officers responded to an accident at 4:31 p.m. on Coffeen Avenue when report was made of a vehicle accident in a parking lot. Officers could not determine fault and no citations were issued. Officers responded to a harassment report at 5:05 p.m. on N. Custer Street. Officers responded to report of shots at 7:47 p.m. on Coffeen Avenue. Officers responded to a report of a possible domestic dispute at 9:27 p.m. on Big Horn Avenue. A male subject was cited for possession of a controlled substance (marijuana) and released after being stopped for a threat investigation at 10:09 p.m. on Ponderosa Drive. No other charges or arrests. An 18-year-old male from Sheridan was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia following a traffic stop at 11:30 p.m. on W. Loucks Street. Officers also responded to two traffic/parking complaints and one dog at large report on Thursday. *Sheridan County Sheriff's Office* Officers assisted an agency at 12: 36 a.m. on N. Main Street in Sheridan. Officers responded to a road hazard at 5:37 a.m. on Red Grade Road, mile post eight. Officers assisted the Wyoming Highway Patrol at 7:45 a.m. on Hwy 87 in Sheridan. Officers responded to a juvenile probation incident at 8:41 a.m. on Meade Avenue. Officers conducted warrant service at 11:15 a.m. on N. Main Street in Sheridan. Officers conducted warrant service at 1:57 p.m. on E. Woodland Park Road in Sheridan. Officers conducted a welfare check at 2:12 p.m. on Red Grade Road in Sheridan. Officers responded to a juvenile on probation incident at 2:44 p.m. on Red Grade Road in Sheridan. Officers assisted Wyoming Highway Patrol at 5:25 p.m. on U.S. Hwy 87 in Sheridan.
